This metamorphosis closely mirrors the designer’s own story: a journey of four years and four months dedicated to researching, designing, and crafting a line of handbags that are remarkably flexible and transformative—an area rarely explored in depth by any handbag designer in the world.
Prior to this, Hiente Nguyen had spent more than twenty years studying, collecting, using, and trading luxury handbags. At the same time, he quietly nurtured a dream within the "cocoon": to establish the first and pioneering field of luxury handbag design and craftsmanship in Vietnam. Now, the time has come—the cocoon has matured, and the butterfly is ready to emerge and soar into the world.

This ability to transform within a single design is unprecedented in Vietnam and extremely rare in the global luxury handbag industry. It is a hallmark of the creative and visionary reform in fashion imagery brought by international designer Hiente Nguyen, based in the Netherlands.
Each design is handcrafted in Vietnam by a team of skilled artisans—80% of the process is done by hand, requiring 30 to 50 hours per piece, including detailed hand-painting. Inspired by haute couture principles, the N8 combines high artistic value with practical usability—core to Hiente Nguyen’s design philosophy.
All bags in this collection are soft box styles—versatile, functional, and suited to a wide range of situations. Every piece is made entirely of full-grain genuine leather, from the exterior to the interior lining. The inner lining is cold-stamped with the "Hiente" mark, indicating an original creation designed and produced by Hiente Nguyen and his team.
