This metamorphosis closely mirrors the designer’s own story: a journey of four years and four months dedicated to researching, designing, and crafting a line of handbags that are remarkably flexible and transformative—an area rarely explored in depth by any handbag designer in the world.
Prior to this, Hiente Nguyen had spent more than twenty years studying, collecting, using, and trading luxury handbags. At the same time, he quietly nurtured a dream within the "cocoon": to establish the first and pioneering field of luxury handbag design and craftsmanship in Vietnam. Now, the time has come—the cocoon has matured, and the butterfly is ready to emerge and soar into the world.

This idea of visual transformation within a single handbag is unprecedented in Vietnam and rare across the global fashion industry, especially in the luxury handbag segment. It represents a creative innovation led by international designer Hiente Nguyen, based in the Netherlands.
Each piece is 80% handcrafted in Vietnam by skilled artisans, taking 30 to 50 hours to complete, including hand-painted detailing. Designed in the haute couture spirit, these pieces offer a harmonious blend of artistic value and practical utility—an essential element in Hiente Nguyen’s design philosophy.
All bags are made in soft box form, practical and adaptable for many different uses. Every piece is crafted fully from high-quality genuine leather, from exterior to lining. The interior is cold-stamped with the “Hiente” logo, signifying a fully original creation by Hiente Nguyen and his team.
